Has anyone gone on a wheat free diet and if so, how were the results with your alopecia?

Secondly, did you completely 100% cut all wheat out of your life or were small doses (i.e soy sauce, or the occasional teaspoon of flour in a recipe) okay?

Hello, I have just started gluten free - decided to try this after reading comments from others in order to stop losing any more hair. Not working as yet but I guess still early days and it maybe a good thing for making me feel better! Good luck - cannot hurt
Gluten free is wheat, barley, rye and one more I think if u google. I have been gluten free for 4 months or so. My hair has thickened up and shedding is a bit slower. For me it couldbe time of year as it's usually better feb mar April then goes up in May so that will be the test for me. Gluten free is not that hard. I eat eggs, fruit, veggies, meat, have favorite gluten free salad dressing (Renee's) and some normal brands r gluten free like Classico spaghetti sauce with rice spaghetti noodles u would never guess that meal is gluten free. Pace salsa and u can find gluten free chips some Lay's, Old Dutch and kettle chips r gluten free. I buy gluten free bread if u can find Kinnikinnick it's tasty. There's my beginners cheat sheet! Good luck
