Where can I find real hair wigs in Italy?

Hi! My name is Valentina, I live in Italy, I'm 19 years old and suffer from alopecia totalis. I'm looking for a real hair wig and would like to know if anyone has found it in Italy, from which company and which cost approx. Can you tell me about your experiences and advise me?

Hi Valentina, I get most of my wig information and advice from www.wigsupport.com

The ladies on this site are experts in just about anything to do with wearing/buying wigs, they are all wig wearers themselves.

There are lots of different options/price ranges for human hair. Vacuum wigs would be around 1800 Euro, a name brand wig (Raquel Welch, Jon Renau etc) would be around 350 - 500 Euro, a full lace wig (usually imported from China) is around 150 Euro. I am also in Europe, the UK, so you should have access to the same suppliers as we have here. I wear synthetic wigs because they look natural and you dont have to style them.. Check out the wig support site and I am sure you will get some great advice.

I am sure you will look lovely in your new hair.

Hello Valentina

While wig support has some good information with regards to synthetic wig options and processed human hair wigs, I'm afraid they are not overly informed about many other wig options that are available.  

I'm an advocate for Freedom Wigs as my daughter has worn them for many years and I help people in New Zealand with this option.

Go to the Freedom Wigs facebook page and have a wee looksee. Everyone on that page is wearing a freedom wig.  They are made with 100% unprocessed virgin human hair, they are secure without the use of glues or tapes, you can swim in them, wear updo's and ponytails, and in my mind are one of the most realistic and comfortable wigs available to those with long term extensive hairloss.
