Hello!
I have been on Xeljanz since December 2018 after suffering from AA (on and off) for about 13 years. I am hoping to travel to SE Asia this summer (Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos) from the United States. The CDC recommends that, in addition to standard vaccines, most travelers receive the Typhoid and Hepatitis A vaccines (both are deactivated). I am wondering if anyone on Xeljanz has had experience with these vaccines and/or international travel to places where the risk of infection might be higher. Thanks in advance for any insight!

Before taking XELJANZ/XELJANZ XR, tell your healthcare provider about all of your medical conditions, including if you:
I would suggest you visit a Travel Clinic. This is where doctors take a medical history and determine if the vaccines will interact with Xeljanz. You bring up a very important issue for any of us who travel abroad.
I think you need to visit a Travel Clinic, doctor know much more than us, because every person can have individual problems. If I was you, I would feel myself more safe if I visited a doctor. Moreover I have a friend that had travelled to Africa because he was curious about safari. Before going there and he went to a doctor, so he found out that he needs three vaccines before going there. So, in my opinion, it is better to learn a bit about all the countries to which you are going to travel and if these requires vaccination. Personally I use https://www.africanjacana.com/poland/, they have almost all the needed information for a traveller.
