I have received a lot of interest from others on here in my involvement with the Xeljanz trials at Yale.

I thought it would be nice for everyone if I documented my progress on here.

Xeljanz is a Jak3 inhibitor and is believed to work with alopecia by turning off the distress signal relayed by the hair follicle to the attacking immune system which is the cause of the hairs falling out. Xeljanz comes in a strength of 5mg per pill and a full box contains 60 tablets. The recommended dosage for arthritis is 1 tablet in the morning and another in the evening each day.

The trial is set in a series of stages and there are requirements before participating. These include monthly visits and blood tests every 2 weeks. Dr Brett King is absolutely fantastic and is an inspiration to me. His positivity and enthusiasm gives me the much needed hope I have craved for over a decade. I have been put on a low dose to start with which is 1 tablet every other day. My dosage has now been increased to 1 tablet every day and next month it could be increased to 2 tablets per day depending on the results.

I have completed my first month and have already noticed my alopecia has stabilised . I have not lost any existing hairs. In addition to this I have seen little hairs growing in my chest area as well as eyebrows. Fingers crossed! To date, I have experienced no side effects.

I never sold any Xeljanz so therefore I never got busted for selling it. I just wanted everyone on here to know that Mtran2000 offered to buy Xeljanz from me TWICE so HE could set me up and bust me. So everyone be aware of him. And I'm not mad at you. I actually feel sorry for you because you're a non-responder full of bitterness and jealousy. You dont have faith in other peoples good motives, God or Xeljanz. Instead, you will hypocritically pose as an interested buyer, and then try to have someone investigated and arrested.

You are so way off. Anyway good luck with your hair regrowth and man hunt.

I have the private messages and page numbers where Mtran2000 offered to buy the Xeljanz from me if anyone doubts what I said above about his intentions. I also have a message where he admitted later "I wasn't really interested in the bottle, I just wanted to see what you were up to." I have other private messages from him falsely accusing me of cheating Xelsource because I got extra Xeljanz thru the Hardship Program due to overlapping shipments. I tried to be his friend and help answer his questions, like I've done everyone else on AW for the last year and a half, but all I've gotten from him is backstabbing suspicion and questioning of my good motives and intent and I'm sick of it. So now YOU are busted Mtran2000. Everyone on here knows not to trust u because you have an ulterior agenda while "posing" as a hair loss victim. I have unfriended you. And don't think I didn't catch your snyde public comment a few weeks ago when someone asked me a genuine question and u said "Oh boy, here we go again." You are jealous of people on this forum appreciating my encouragement and advice. That's partly the reason ur hair won't grow back. You are full of suspicion and distrust instead of faith and love. Your inner negativity is working against you. And that negative mental spirit will affect your body, mind and all of your personal relationships. Everybody knows about the "placebo effect." Mind over body. I'm living proof that Faith and Xeljanz work best together. That's why I gave myself this name 2 months BEFORE I took my first dose. I KNEW Xeljanz would work for me a MILLION percent. I told all my friends and associates my hair would grow back on it almost a YEAR in advance, when I first heard of it. I told them that they would be part of my miracle and see it for themselves. And so it has proved to be: Full regrowth everywhere, except the one area I subconsciously did NOT want it, underneath my arms, lol!

<yawn>

Mtran2000, By insinuating that I'm on a "manhunt," you continue to be disrespectful when you know good and well that my profile picture is of me and my husband. We discussed that picture in detail when you were falsely accusing me of not being old enough to retire next year. Yes, I'm older than my husband, but who can tell? Certainly not you, and although your assertions and assumptions were false, AS ALWAYS, I accepted it as a backhanded compliment at the time. But your jealousy and resentment continue to show and flair up. It appears that you wish you could "be my man." Sorry, even if I was available, you're not my type. I am drawn to spiritual men of faith, who are kind, loving and empathetic. I have been blessed with a lot of male friends on here. Unfortunately for you, you're no longer one of them. And I seriously doubt that others on here will want to befriend you now that they understand your "true, underlying motive": To investigate Xeljanz users for criminal activities and have them arrested.

You are really reaching. I am in no way shape or form out to arrest Xeljanz users. I am a Xeljanz user myself . Actually that is some fantasy you have going.

I just never agreed and I'm sure others feel the same way that no one should sell a medication they got for free. Really could ruin the whole program. Exactly what you were trying to do and also you hit up potential buyer for free lodging for your vacation.

Also I do not wish to be your man. That is just silly.

So what Mtran2000, whatever arrangements I made to take the Xeljanz to someone who ASKED to purchase it (like u did) were between me and them. Mind your own business! You could use your time more constructively helping people like I do, but instead you always want to impute bad motives to someone. Your focus is off Mr. Policeman. Concentrate on doing some GOOD for others. Feel your heart with love and compassion and eradicate the negativity. People call, text and email me from all over the world because they know I will unselfishly help them get Xeljanz for free or at a huge discount. Why don't you do the same thing and stop being a whiny crybaby? Pfizer has BILLIONS of dollars. They give it to us free for a reason: We are their guinea pigs, their research. You don't need to worry about them, lol!
Just sharing an update...

I am a 26 year old female.

I am 28 weeks from the onset of my alopecia (became 100% AU within a month, hair loss was in diffuse pattern, no patches. No personal or family history of alopecia. No known trigger).

17 weeks on Xeljanz (6 weeks on 2 pills, 6 weeks on 3 pills, 2 weeks on 4 pills, 1 week on 3 pills, 2 weeks alternating 3 and 4 pills).

Started seeing results 2 months in on Xeljanz.

Side effects: weight gain (As of today I am up 10 lbs since starting Xeljanz- and I follow a strict exercise regiment and eat very healthy foods). 1 severe cold with fever that lasted 8 days. But also feeling a sore throat coming on today...

Started seeing some pigmented brows this week! About 10 hairs on each side. Still no lashes...

Katrina!! I am so happy for you! This is exactly how mine started. You will see a big jump start in your hair growth not that's it's started. Can't wait to see your progress!

Thanks, Katie!  This has definitely been a good week of progress for me... and after 6 months of worrying, I am starting to feel like I am on my way to a recovery and it feels great.  I will continue to post updates.   Happy Holidays <3

Katiegirl how is your hair since coming off this summer ?
All has been good. Been off xeljanz since end of June. No obvious hair loss other than my eyebrows which have become very thin and I lost most of my eyelashes in the past month but I will take it as long as my hair stays put!
