I shaved all off two days ago, because spots are all around and I do not want any more wait and stress for new spots or regrow. It changes definitely the look, but I like it. I 'just' have to find the courage to go out like that. Meanwile I use turbans I make myself...

I'm contemplating shaving, but I'm going to wait and do so if its worsens. I'm sick of shedding in the shower. Its a nuiscence.

I have minimal regrowth, the hairs a comming in very thin. Will they thicken? The spot is slowly, but gradually worsenning. Information online on AA isn't that helpful. "It will regrow back on its own after a year." WELL I've been waiting! Gggrrr!!! I'm waiting till after the holidays to see a derm. I'm using only 2% rogaine. I'm thinking its a total joke.

I agree with Amy...I LOVE this site and the wonderful friends I have made on it. However, I'm not learry about reading too many posts, or discussions just because of the questions it leaves in my own mind of whether this will get worse or not. A part of me wishes that more folks who have experience full regrowth and recovery would post more of their stories. I think there are many here who could benefit from and be inspired by their stories. Anyway, here's hoping that we all find that regrowth and remission in our alopecia journey.
