I don't know, but I was wondering the same thing. AU is different for everyone. I talked to a woman who lost all her hair and it was gone for 15 years and then grew back red and curly and has it ever since...I don't know if pregnancy had anything to do with it, but the story gives me hope...How far along are you???

and in no way your answer is a bummer!! i have lived with AU about 19 years and since i got pregnant 9 months now just waiting for labor!! my hair has really really grown on my head tummy a few under arm! lol i am just interested if this has happened to any one out there! to be honest it actually really scares me !!! i quite enjoy having au and can not picture my self dealing with hair and a baby lol i often wonder if my husband would be as attracted to me if it were to grow back.

Sarah- yes that is true. I was pregnant last year and experienced regrowth. I was excited let me tell you! One of the women here pointed out that she knew a few woman who had had regrowth and then lost it once they gave birth. I will admit I was hoping she was wrong. however I miscarried and not long after started to loose all the growth I had. Now 5 months later I am as bald as I was to begin with. I know that is not the answer you wanted- a bummer :o(

Hi!! I have had three babies in the last 9 yrs and all my hair left with the birth of the first one (after 7 yrs of 90% regrowth) 2nd and 3rd babies changed nothing, no regrowht at all. I am still smooth!! I actually have gotten used to not shaving legs and such and like the smooth skin. I still have days where a head full of hair certainly wouldn't hurt my feelings....life is good and my children and I live in health!! Everyone seems to be the same but completely different in the hair journey we're on. God bless you and your little one!!

Yes my hair came in with all three of my pregnancy. Stuck around while I breastfeed and then fell out soon after I was done. It was nice for the time it was here. I hope yours stay for U and congrats on the baby!!! Tif
