I think it's more snake oil in a bottle. Expensive too!

Has anyone tried that new product that is featured on Alopeciaonline.com, that doctor sounds like he is on to something?

Dad- It still baffles me that our society places so much emphasis on hair. I dearly love the people on this site who have become a family of compassionate, courageous, extraordinary human beings, very adept at functioning within a world that threatens their confidence and self esteem on a daily basis. Your daughter will become stronger and a more beautiful person as acquires a deeper understanding of her relationships with others.

Interestingly,if you've never visited a NAAF conference with those beautiful China dolls everywhere, I'd highly recommend it. Not only does the bald head become the norm, but the new identify becomes beautiful. I grew up in a white suburban neighborhood, old enough to recall when the first black model appeared on a magazine and the slogan "Black is Beautiful" was headlining the fashion industry. "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" was a smashing hit and we were finally on the way to realizing that our difference was only skin pigmentation; what mattered was the character of the person, not the exterior cover. Your daughter will have a much deeper understanding of that concept than other children her age, especially with the help of a very loving father:).((Hugs)) Susan

To this day I still get shocked to look at my "china doll" baby girl.
She can look alien at times. But looks are only skin deep. The real problem is with me. The typical on looker. We expect to see hair where it belongs. My daughter excepts it better then me. But then, she is unaware people can tell she has no hair, even with her hat on. She will ask me prior to friends dropping in. Do they know?
It is only hair. How can it and why does it have such an impact on our lives?
