You could do it Elaine I am sure! Once you get past the first couple of times it gets to be pretty easy :o) But boy oh boy can I understand the cold thing. Man does my head freeze. Question for everyone- I have been curious. Anyone else have a problem with touching your head all the time when not covered? seems like it itches alot, even though no hair. And I have a bad habit of constantly messing with my head. Was curious if anyone else is the same??????

If the weather was warmer over here in wet scotland lol, I'd seriously consider not wearing my wig and relish the freedom. I miss feeling the breeze on my head. I also wish I had the courage to go without. Maybe one day.

Well yes, bald is in.... for me. For women, society tells us otherwise. Bald women are different. But I think it's that whole concept of it being exotic, different, that somewhere deep inside every man, there's that desire to get to know who and what a bald woman is all about. Even if she is just a normal girl with AU, how many woman in every 10,000 or something like that, I forgot the stats, has AU or totalis? I am not in the position to say how EVERY guy is, ESPECIALLY since I have AU myself, but we can all agree that men always like something different, that's why we're always accused of cheating. I won't get into that because I was recently cheated on by my FORMER fiance'

Thanks Scott! Nice to know there are some people who feel that way. Maybe it is just the point of them getting past the "first" look huh?

To be honest my first reaction to a bald woman would be one of shock. But I have learned that real attraction is between the ears not what hangs by them or not. I warm heart and a person who makes you feel good, is much more attractive then all the hair in the world.

I will agree with you Matt, I do find bald men very attractive, and that was before I became bald :o) But, on the other hand- I don't really think that most men find bald women attractive. That has been my experience at least. Guys say they are cool with it and all, but to actually have that attract them, not so much

LOL Burt Reynolds is the example on the other side of the spectrum that it doesn't matter how much hair somebody has

I like your attitude alot..I am new at this as my son is only 2 1/2. I want to make sure I do not make him a victim, or have the poor little me attitude. It's more like...I'm bald...so what? Good point.....and more women do prefer hairless men. Didn't that whole Burt Reynolds look go out in 1980??

Again, like I said, if you address it like "I'm bald" opposed to "poor me, I have a medical condition" there's no problem. Not to come off arrogant or anything, but quite frankly, bald is in right now, people don't care if you can't grow hair. You're not like this freak of nature. You're just bald. I find that girls like it better that I'm hairy. I work out and it makes my muscles stand out better ;) JK. But seriously, name one girl who doesn't like hairlessness, I'll leave that to your imagination.

I hate to sound all "mothery", but the right girl will come along who could care less about the alopecia. There are good women out there...don't despair:)
