Hi Everyone,
Just thought I would let you all know I did the 100km Around the Bay ride from Sorrento to Melbourne and wore the AAAF bib on my back!

I did the ride with my partner and one of his his work colleagues mentioned that he had a friend who had Alopecia Barbae.

It just goes to show there are more people starting to know about Alopecia through others talking about it, advertising it and hopefully this is what AAAF are trying to achieve!

I am doing another 105km ride with my partner in Stromlo Forest, Canberra called the Fitz's Ride and will be wearing our AAAF bib again! If you are in Canberra and would like to catch up for a coffee/chat let me know- Would Love to meet you!

Alan my partner is also fundraising for AAAF on this ride and if you or your friends would like to donate please see this link

Take care

Hi Everyone this is from my partner Alan and because I am so proud of what he is doing I thought I would add it onto AW and see if anyone would like to support him to support the AAAF :).

From Alan:
I am riding the 250km (4,700m of hill climbing) Fitz’s Challenge bike ride(see below links for further ride information) in Canberra on the Melbourne Cup weekend, fundraising for the AAAF

My target is $500 and I would like to reach this before I hop on my bicycle on the 30th October. I am not asking you to join me on the ride. I will do the hard work - all I am asking is that you visit the fundraising page at

http://www.aaaf.org.au/index.php?page=donate

Bank: National Australia Bank
Account Name: Australia Alopecia Areata Foundation
BSB: 083294 Account No: 167936134
Reference: ALAN T (this is important)

(note if you wish a tax receipt then just send an email to info@aaaf.org.au
and they send it out to you).

Thank you for helping me reach my target and for supporting the AAAF in their journey!

Anyone can do the same - just contact info@aaaf.org.au if you need any help to get started :)
