– A reminder about the casual get together on 22nd at the Edge Espresso Bar in Caloundra at 10am. if you have not yet replied and would like to attend, please let me know as soon as possible as I need to finalise numbers by this Saturday Judy @aaaf.org.au
One of our members (Sarah Peters) has written a play titled “Bald Heads and Blue Stars”. It will be screening at the University of Southern Qld next August.
Through this project she aims to raise awareness about Alopecia and share with a broader community the trials and triumphs that sufferers of Alopecia face each day.
Sarah interviewed a number of ladies from Qld for research and has sent a draft of the play to those involved. I was fortunate enough to be one of the lucky ladies and I must say, after having read the draft that she
has done an exceptional job and I am really looking forward to seeing the play.
