2013 Psychological Research Study You'll find the info at www.aaaf.org.auAAAF is running two studies in 2013. Both are for those over 18. Please help us to help you and those that come behind you in understanding the emotional journey in all forms of Alopecia Areata by participating.

1) You are invited to participate in a research project to evaluate the quality of life, psychological impact, and resultant acceptance of Alopecia Areata (AA) diagnosis. The study is entitled “Alopecia Areata: The impact over time.” EOI Form

2)Women Only - You are invited to participate in a research project to investigate the impact alopecia areata has on women’s self-esteem, depression anxiety and coping strategies. The study is entitled “Investigation the impact of Alopecia Areata on women's self-esteem, mood states and coping”. EOI Form

We have a Brissie event this weekend hope you can make it! It is the first meeting for this year will be an informal coffee catchup and a chat at:

Our Trivia night is coming up soon & we only need 18 more people to join our Trivia Night and we will have a full house!!

Prior to the Trivia night from 3pm - we will also be holding our "Wig Sale". The wigs are fantastic quality and going very cheap to our AAAF supporters...The wigs retail for over $200 each and are current styles.
These prices are a once off and we have over 100 Wigs that will be on display for CASH purchase on this day. The wigs are synthetic with a net weave cap and side ties. They are all female wigs and suitable for ages 12 upwards.

We will also have other items for sale on the day.
