Just wondering where I can find a list of wig suppliers in the Melbourne area. I'm almost due to get another wig. I still have never felt satisfied with my wigs - nothing is the same as what my original hair looked like

Hi Bindi, I just bought my 1st wig a couple of weeks ago and have not looked back! It's improved my self esteem like flicking a switch! I bought a natural human European hair wig Kiki brand from Hanna Straussa in Elsternwick she was awesome so understanding and great taste and suggestions PM me if u want more details. Angela from angel wigs is also awesome. You really just need to try some on and see, I resisted this for a while thinking all wigs would look so obvious but honestly if u have the money to get a really good one they just look like you have a brilliant haircut, not even my girlfriend (who helped me choose it) thinks it looks like a wig she kind forgets and thinks it just looks great. I told everyone at work by sending around a before and after pic in an email with an explanation about AA and everyone has just been giving me lots of compliments about it. I completely understand how u feel with the mirror, best not to dwell on that and focus on your best features like nice smiling eyes or lovely lips etc and how fantastic they will look when you pop on your new doo (wig)

Hi Bindi
AAAF has a list of Wig providers and the different types etc and a facebook page that might give you some supportive ideas as well.

Hi,
I was wondering if there are any women on here who wear wigs and which brand/type they've gone for?

I'm new on here. I'm only 22 and find it very hard to look in the mirror.

Hi Laura
I am so happy to hear that you are having some success with the vitamins and crossing my fingers (legs, arms and anything else that can be crossed ) that it keeps going!

We are having a Trivia night soon but that will be for people over 18....but we won't have something to far away for families - will let you all know when we do! Is there anything you can suggest that you might like to do as a group/family ???

See you soon!
