Hi everyone, I've been going through something scary these past twe weeks, I discovered I have no more tears, went to 3 docs already, and I am having blood work to check for sjogrens, which the more I found out about the less I would want it! I'm trying to stay possitive, and feel that my eyes, at least feel better, although still If I cry no tears come out. Please pray for me that I would be healed, and especially that I would not have this ugly disease. Thanks everyone. I appreciate you guys so much, I feel that we have been through so much together.

I distinctly remember the turning point in my life while my hair was falling out (I was AA for two years until it finally all went away). I was having a terrible time with my hair falling out...near panicking, totally self-absorbed, worrying, journaling about it, etc. etc. Anyway, my family and I were visiting another city attending one of my son's sports tournaments and went to Mass, as we are practicing Catholics. I walked into the church early on that Sunday morning, as I have for it seems like hundreds of years, genuflected and looked up at the crucifix hanging over the altar and was instantly struck by the overwhelming thought of "if You can do that for me, surely I can do this small thing for you." It was as if something was literally washing over me and I began praising God (to myself...you know us Catholics can't praise out loud individually in church or they'll haul us away :-) and thanking Him that this wasn't a fatal disease -- deciding at that point to accept and offer my struggles to him with gratitude.

It really was a major change for me...I'm not going to say I don't miss my hair every day of my life, because I do, and I still wish it would grow back, but it did make it easier. I thank you, God, for the gift of faith!

Wow so many Christians members of AW, fantastic!! If I may share I, the one thing that made my transition from hairy to not easier was my faith and i hope this blesing applies to all of you.
