Deb and Megan, thank you for sharing your concerns. I just lifted you up. Remember your identity is not in your hair or lack thereof. It is in Jesus Christ, the author and perfector of our faith. For me, my health is stabilizing and my hair is growing well. Still, I recognize that until Christ returns we live in a fallen world where death, disease and destruction reign. Consider it pure joy my brothers (and sisters) whenever you face trials!

Hi everyone, particularly those new members!I am so encouraged to come on here and see the group growing in numbers and in the support that we are giving to each other. I keep you all in my prayers daily and want to reiterate my offer of if anybody ever wants to request prayer or just wants a chat please, please feel free to email me at meganlackie@hotmail.co.uk. I hope you are all keeping well. As for me personally, hair is getting worse and worse after going for a fair period of time with it coming back in. But what can you do but keep going eh. I move to start university in two weeks time so prayer for this would be great! Keep smiling and God bless you all. Love Megan xx

Hi all. I am new to this group and have been quiet so far. My doctors have previously diagnosed me with Telogen Effluvium, but as I was putting on my rogaine tonight, I found a bald spot. I am completely FREAKED out and feel like dying right now. I need your prayers and support, I am LOST. How do I handle this...so much elsewhere in my life is messed up as well. Thanks for any support you can give.

Hello there and so glad to find a Christian group supporting Alopecia. I've had alopecia for about 16yrs...WOW, didn't realize it's been that long. My hair went completely bald at the age of 20 when I had my first child. Grew back and then again @ 25, my 2nd child. I remained confident through it all.. Many asked how could I be so positive through all the baldness and still have the upmost security. I replied, "its gotta be my GOD that keeps me sane through it all".

Hi folks...With my hair growing in steadily (and curly to boot) I'm not here so much but I just wanted to let y'all know that I am keeping you in prayers.

Blessings!

I'd like to be a member of this Christian group. I'm a member of the Church of Christ here in Mt. Clemens,Michigan. Serving the Lord has truly been my strength with alopecia and I encourage others to do the same. In Christ, Bernice

Hi all.Long time no speak!Firstly,it's great to see so many new members and I encourage you to keep sharing and praying for each other.Secondly,my apologies for being away from the group for so long.I hope you are all well.As per usual - prayer requests or just general chit chat in an email at meganlackie@hotmail.co.uk will reach me and I will ALWAYS respond. Keep up the encouragement to each other guys,God Bless you all. Welcome again to all of you who have joined since I last stopped in. Not much of a group leader am I? But this is most definately the type of group that is made by its members - and we have some awesome members on here! Thanks be to God for the community that is forming on this group. It has inspired me so much to come back and see such a bigger group of people in this group and I keep you all in my prayers regularly. Love and God Bless
