At last. I have found my group. I am a deeply committed Christian who loves Jesus with all my heart and really does not like being AU. But I am a joyful woman who wants to connect with other Christians who deal with alopecia. Thanks for the group.
Hello Everyone,
My name is Mark I'm a Christian, 58 years old, and developed AU last December after a knee surgery. I lost all of my hair within three months ! I am still trying to adjust to all of it and must say there are days when its tough. I could not begin to understand how this must be for a women or a teenager to go through. My prayers to all of you..

GOD healed people who were bald. Hair began to grow right then and there! God can heal ANY and EVERYTHING!!!
I just had a bad experience with a young in the lord christian rejecting me in part because of my hair loss disease...i know i am secure in christ, but it still hurt a lot...i'll get over it...and he was bald too...i have other issues that i can understand to a degree being an issue, but all of the above never bothered any one else...it's hard to know when to tell a person about the personal issues in life we struggle with...but being upfront seemed best at the time. help...prayers...even prayers for a brother in the Lord in his 50s to be a husband for me....
Sweet heart you are in my prayers, hope and pray this passes and is NOT another recurrance. IF it is, I pray God gives you the strength to get through it.
I thought that my alopecia had gone because it had stopped coming out 2 years ago, until just last week when i started noticing more than usual hair falling out. I'm going to the doctor on thursday, but I am really scared because I am in 8th grade and I am just getting used to school again, after being homeschooled the past year and a half for school issues with my hair. I was so excited that it had grown back but now I am just terrified. please pray for me.
Andrea I just read your response to Jacques of 6.12.12 and it blessed my heart! Such truth. Thank you for sharing your wise wisdom, if only we embraced seeking and pleasing God and getting out of the claws of this present age we would all be happy, holy and pleasing the only one who matters, our creator and Lord! Thanks
Hi guys,
Just checking in with everyone to see how you all are? I know my appearances on this page are pretty few and far between as of late but I just wanted to remind you that if you ever need to chat or want prayer or anything like that you can always email me at meganlackie@hotmail.co.uk. It's always encouraging to come back and see even more members! I hope we can continue to encourage and support each other. Lots of love, Megan x
