Hi Jefrey,
I don't know too much about flower arranging although I like to make arrangements from my garden to give to friends. The simple arrangements with only one or two stems and/or flowers I really like. I forget the name of the flower arranging, it can be quite stunning.

I did a bit of stained glass quite a few years ago and liked it. But as Jeffrey said I thought it was a bit expensive, perhaps now that it's more popular the prices have come down. Would love to try it again.

Thanks Judith,
I looked into it several years ago and I remember it being very expensive. I will have to take another look into it.

I don't think that stained glass is really that expensive of a hobby. The initial amount that you have to put out is around $300, and that would include a grinder, soldering iron, glass cutter, etc. I buy most everything at delphi glass in Michigan, and they have starter kits that are quite reasonable. I would recommend a beginners class in stained glass at a local glass store or community college to see if you like it first before making the purchase.

Hi Rebecca,
Do you make origami turtles? I have a partner who adores turtles and owls. I once looked at making an origami turtle, oh my gosh, the diections looked like a tool made especially to torture me. Perhaps there are different ways to make things in origami?

Hello Everybody
I like stained glass of any kind, especially making panels and stepping stones. I also like counted cross stitch.
Anyone else interested in either hobby?

Hello All,
I like decorating, flower arranging, picture framing and lighting to name a few.
I've been known to be a bit crafty at times.
