Oh, activity has really stepped up!

Anyway, I'm a crocheter, and I've been working my butt off on several projects, all of them plush dolls. My current project is a pair of dolls from a comic/movie/video game I liked. So let's use this group to discuss projects, helpful tips and tricks, and other crafty-type things.

Hi Jeffrey,

Thank you for joining. Tell us about what you like to do. Maybe I'll learn something. I hear that old dogs can learn new things lol.

Tanya hi, I'm so pleased to see you signed up. What do you like to knit, are you working on anything at the moment that you'd like to talk about. I like to knit scarves.

Hi Stephanie,
Thank you for signing up! I love candles and with soya we don't have to be concerned about smoke, right a few other things I could do with a reminder about :). Perhaps you could give a few pointers regarding making soya candles. I would really enjoy making some for my small abode.

Hi Rebecca, Thank you so much for joining our little group. I looked at the flower seed paper. Sounds great and looks easy. An inexpensive blender can be had at second-hand stores sometimes for a few pennies. I get small appliances such as irons at such places once in a while.

ooo! that sounds cool! I'm definitely into burning candles lol. I just stumbled on a page that teaches you how to make flower petal paper! I really want to try it, but I dont have blender up at school :)

Oh alright I'll go first! Well, I've been doing some knitting, cowl scarves, so easy and cosy. Now I would like to learn some fancier stitches such as lace to knit some cowl scarves with. Embroidery is one of my favourite things to do especially is candlewicking which I haven't done a whole lot of.

I've also been making bracelets, forgive me for saying this, I think they are sooo pretty (just my humble opinion).

I deserately need to do some sewing but for some reason just haven't got around to it yet. ( please don't send me any roundtoits, thank you)

Reading is also one of my favourite things to do. At the moment I am very slowly reading my way through, "Twelve Step To A Compassionate Life" by: Karen Armstrong. I have also just received Leslie Ann Butler's book called, " If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing". Really looking forward to reading this.

Oh, I just had a thought, (no that wasn't sawdust you smelt burning lol) perhaps we could have a book study here also, what do you all think?

Feeling tired most of the time and doing what needs to be done doesn't leave lots of energy to play.

Please feel free to reply to all or any little bit of this or just let us know what you've been up to even if it's just in the idea stages, ok, ok :).

Big, Big Squishy Hugs To All You Beautiful Alopecians!!

I am crafty! I love everything arts and crafts! I definitely live to create! I do macrame, origami, scrap-booking, painting, drawing (with markers-I hate pencil), collage, ect! I love it all!
