The other night I made GF blueberry muffins. Yesterday I had them for breakfast and was satisfied. In fact, they were better than the ones I made before.

This morning my older daughter tried one and gave it thumbs down. Later my younger daughter tried one and it was the same reaction. *sigh*

Both seem to have no issues when I make cookies, brownies or pie crust. Sometimes I imagine what a wheat flour muffin tastes like...but I really think my taste buds have changed.

Yesterday in the car, my older daughter asked me why we never go get bagels anymore....*sigh* I guess I never think about the need to get them!!

I've also noticed that I have become really sensitive to the smell of their "wheat" snacks (goldfish crackers for example....) when they eat in the car. In the future, "wheat" snacks might have to be banned. Plus, the crumbs are an issue...

Hi thanks for the invite I've been gluten & dairy free for over one year now.
It's still hard sometimes ,but so worth the benefits.

Thats great that you know all of this!!

I am in the process of calling AVON right now so we'll see what they say.

Thanks.

Parabens can be absorbed in the skin and occupying estrogen receptor in your body causing estogen dominance. My daughter is the one with AA but I know I had estogen dominance issues which causes all sorts of nasty problems in the body. I've eliminated it from all soaps, detergents, and make up.

Two websites I go to for cooking inspiration are:

and

This Christmas I am actually going to attempt the fruitcake from Jeena's Kitchen. I know. I'm sad. The only person that enjoys fruitcake. I attribute my liking of fruitcake to my partially Eastern European Heritage. I can't help it.

Hi not sure about the paraben not even sure what it is but I will find out for you. would you please write me at my address: withhope2008@ymail.com
The no egg and dairy is hard enough but maybe corn torts?

I like udis but as I have candida too the yeast isn't much good for that, but they are wonderful.

Hey guys, I use Udi's Pizza Crust and it is fantastic. really. I eat sandwiches with it and make pizza with it. I also found and love French Meadow Bakery: http://www.frenchmeadow.com/ There is egg white in the GF sandwich bread, but no casein or lactose. I also have slight egg allergy....but it is almost nonexistent now after my stomach has done some healing from eliminating the gluten and dairy.

Pamela's for pancakes is soooo good. Love it.

I just found products recently that I'm interested in for my hair: www.originalsprout.com They are free of basically everything you could think of. Best to shop elsewhere on the web for best prices.....but start at the website for information. As soon as I'm out of my Giovanni stuff I'm switching.

Hi Eileen
Does avon have paraben free items? I avoid parabens as much as possible.

Thanks for the info of Kinnikinnick. I hadn't come across that one yet. They have some bread crumb that may be usefull. Unfortunately all their gluten and yeast free breads contain egg and guess what? She is allergic to eggs. That's why she uses rice cakes instead. There is just no bread substitutes that I have found that contain no yeast, gluten, dairy or egg that tastes like food that is.

I do want to add something to our conversation here. I just joined AVON as a Rep because I really want to share that they have a huge long list of Gluten Free products. If anyone is interested let me know and I can get you the list and we can exchange e-mail addresses.

I believe in the product, used many other products and I keep coming back to AVON.
