Hi fellow alopecians and Seattlites and around areas,

My friend Shari and I arranged a fun get together and your all invited. Plus anyone else w/ alopecia. We did this last year with eight people(some from Canada even). We met at Anthony's in Seattle and we had a reserved table in the back which allowed for privacy in conversation and we just had a lot of fun. We just arrange that with people that we know and some from BC group. This year we like to do the same thing but arranged it for an invite anyone who would like to come with AA.

Please RSVP to me or Shari so that I can reserve the right amount of space. We are doing at  Ivars on Lake Union April 4th Saturday at 3:00. You may purchase your own beverages, apptizers or meal. Ivars has free parking for anyone attending the restaurant. They have a lot good food and different options. I found their apps and chowder more economical. www.ivars.com/locations/salmon-house

We like to start doing get togethers for fun and support. May do the next more on south end.

Thanks and hope to meet! Contact also if have any questions/comments too.

Cheers,

-

Our kiddo is almost 4, we'd love to join. Were there any kids that joined your group last year?

Thanks,

Amanda

Hi Amanda,

Last year, it was all adults who attended.  We would love for you to come.  This year, it depends how large the group will grow to which will decide whether we set up in the bar or the restaurant.  Because they don't take reservations, we are subject to set up where they will fit us. If we know you are bringing your child, we can make it our preference to set up in the restaurant first if the space is available.

Lea and I really hope you can come!

Shari

Hey Shari,

That is totally understandable! My boyfriend and I both work with Anthony's restaurants so I know how that goes :) We can see how it ends up.. if there are a lot of adults planning on going, then I will join you alone the first time so there's no issue. I'd really like to get a feel for things before bringing my little miss ya know?

Thanks for getting back to me. Cant wait to meet you!

Amanda

I am looking forward to meeting you Amanda! It looks like we might be having a good turnout for this so far! Lea mentioned that next time we will have a meet up at a pizza parlor and that will be more child friendly for sure with games for the children. We are so glad you can come Amanda!

What a good idea! I am definitely in for Ivar's then and I'll have Daph come with me to the next meet up.

See you ladies soon!

Amanda

Great Amanda! See you there!

Hi Amanda and Shari,

Thanks and ditto will all Shari said. See soon ~

Hi Amanda,

Our group is quite large now (20)!  So we got reservations in the dining room.  One woman said she is bringing her son with AA.  She did not mention his age.  So, if you are still thinking of bringing your daughter, just let me know . . . I reserved for 20 and we just might tip that so I want to call ahead and reserve more if needed.  You can email me direct at cupitms@msn.com.

See you soon!

So far, and I barely just got the word out, there will be seven of us! Our Canadian friends also are considering coming and that will be a few more! I expect the list to grow to at least double!
Count me in! Thanks for organizing this. I'm really looking forward to to.

Rachel
Hi Rachel!

I've got your name down! Thank you for your RSVP! Leah and I are very excited as we think they'll be several of us at this meet up! I look forward to meeting you!

Thank You Shari!
