Hello Vancouverites! Connecting is one of the best ways to feel happier and become more informed! Come as you are, whether you are shy or outgoing. This is a genuine and fun group where all of us - new to alopecia or experienced, hair-wearer or au natural, seeking treatment or not - all come together and be supportive, informative, and positive for one another. After 4+ years of running this group, I can say for sure that you'll feel better after a meetup! :)
Come to our monthly meetups, or, start by joining this group and be in the loop of upcoming meetups! Sometimes I include alopecia news / remedy / stories too.
If your kid / teen has alopecia, please contact us and we'll put you in touch with other parents! It'll be, I believe, quite awesome for your child :)

Strike 1...
Thanks for moderating Roxanne's post Jeffrey! I've deleted her shampoo advertisement post.
Really???
Sorry, but I don't think this is appropriate.
Please rethink your ridiculous idea that a shampoo is going to grow hair.
Enough said...
Hi Roxanne! Welcome to the group! Our next meetup should be happening soon, and we'll send out an email before then. Please email me at alopecia.vancouver[at]gmail.com
Oh thank you ladies, sorry delay had flu. I think than maybe it was someone else mentioned a book that inspired them. I'll ask next, thanks again!
Hmm....I don't remember a challenges book mentioned....
Lea, it wasn't me that mentioned the challenges book. I started the AIP path a year ago in a last ditch effort to keep some of my hair. It didn't help there (although hope still burns) but I do feel much healthier. AIP has eliminated most IBS symptoms and my energy levels are up.
Lea, another good site: http://autoimmunewellness.com/our-story/
