Hello All,
I am new to this site and live in Vancouver, BC. Interested in joining the meeting/social you have planned Elenore. Would I be able to join? Can you tell me when it is? Thanks!
oh boy, you girls are in for a treat. Vacuums are the penultimate pieces but yes, you need to be smooth. Looking forward to enlightening some of you. Check out Sandra Fournier's site.
I have never used glue in my whole time of wearing a piece. I am really curious about this new method.
Smooth Alopecians. I sense a subgroup. Lol.
Haha, Plumeria, Elenore is the expert on this and she will fill you in!
I've never tried one, though a bit curious. I think the lace based wigs have more natural hairlines because they are thinner, but I believe the new vacuum wigs have very thin edges too. You have to be completely "smooth" to wear it. No glue, stays on tight.
Great! I'll see what Sandra's schedule is like. It would be a Thursday or Friday.
Yes we can do social but it will take about 1/2 hour to do my cast and she may do my daughter Nikki's at that time.
Will work on it.
Ok, ladies, fill me in - vacuum hairpiece? I just googled it - I have never heard of this - where do you get them? What is the cost? How long to they last? I watched a coupled YouTube videos on it too - What the heck? Who has been wearing these? What are your thoughts?
Elenore - yes count me in! :)
@Tanya - good to see we are catching new members!
@Elenore - Would be great to compare notes on how Calgary and Vancouver are organizing themselves. Would love to meet Sandra! Can we organize a social event?
anyone wishing to meet with Sandra Fournier when she comes to Vancouver? You can watch her make a cast on me for my vacuum hairpiece. I live in the West End, so I think its central for most. Let me or Sandra know.
