Hello Vancouverites! Connecting is one of the best ways to feel happier and become more informed! Come as you are, whether you are shy or outgoing. This is a genuine and fun group where all of us - new to alopecia or experienced, hair-wearer or au natural, seeking treatment or not - all come together and be supportive, informative, and positive for one another. After 4+ years of running this group, I can say for sure that you'll feel better after a meetup! :)
Come to our monthly meetups, or, start by joining this group and be in the loop of upcoming meetups! Sometimes I include alopecia news / remedy / stories too.
If your kid / teen has alopecia, please contact us and we'll put you in touch with other parents! It'll be, I believe, quite awesome for your child :)

Jan 31st is okay with me too. Either one works.
The only weeknight I am free is Monday, which is a bit restrictive for the group. Please go ahead. Maybe those interested in joining in on planning the beach walk, could meet for coffee one Sunday aft on Commercial . . .
Sounds great JLo!! :)
Again, not for me, but have fun! I would like to start discussion of the beach walk. Thinking about low tide at Locarno, on a sunny day in February or March. What I am thinking - as a start - is that a core group of us meets, and those of us who want to "free our scalps" do as such, and just enjoy the walk at low tide. I would also like to contact the Georgia Straight, to see if they are interested in promoting this activity, to raise awareness. So the idea is that we would have to be comfortable with being photographed and interviewed, if they are interested. My hope is that this leads to a second walk, with attendance by potential new members, who may never have met someone with alopecia before. Thoughts? Anyone want to work with me on this?
Feb 2nd works for me too!
How does Feb. 2nd sound everybody? I can do any Tues or Thurs.
Good morning. Just wondering if a date for our next meeting has been set. Could I also have an address. Thanks
Thanks, for the link Chris:)
