Great suggestion!

I can host any Tuesday evening in November or Thurs 17th or Thurs 24th. Weekends are also open at this point so please let me know what works for you guys and lets lock it in so we can make it happen. Let me know if you want to do another potluck or any other suggestions (coffee .... wine and cheese)

Here Here!!!! So how's about this . . . We start with a walk in Lynn Valley, just the group, and the NAAFers, if they want to join us. The idea is that you walk as you so choose - scarf, wig, hat, bald! Let's just get out there and feel comfortable in who we are! Next step, we open ourselves to others by promoting a beach walk at low tide, as something that we publicize to increase awareness in Vancouver. Night everyone!

Faaabulous potluck party!! We just wrapped up at 10:30pm! So great having Jana (pronounced "Yana"), Tove, Deeann, Jana2 (pronounced "Jana" :)), Afiya, and Cat! Yes everyone else - you were missed!

Also had a great phone convo with Dana today! Will see you at the next meeting too I'm sure!

Chris, looking forward to seeing you again! Would love to meet at your place next! Thank you for offering to host!! November will be great - before the hectic pre-Christmas weeks begin.

Jana (btflbaldgrrl) will be organizing a beach outing - so stay tuned!

Everybody, don't be shy to share your ideas, suggestions, or offer to host/organize anything! If we are all active in this group, and giving/getting what we want out of it, we will be tiiight :) Which also means that if any one of us gets busy (happens to all of us at some point!) the group stays active and strong, because it is supported by not just 1 or 2 people, but a group of us!!

No I didn't get it Tanya - its almost 8pm on the night and I just got in the door from school and picking kids up - I knew I would be pushing it this week, but that;s OK - next one can be at my place in Nov or Dec. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Tove and I will be there! We are coming from Burnaby and she will likely have a bath after school, so we might be a bit late. I will take a parking stall, if there is still one free. : )

I will do the 11th if that works better for everyone.

Also, I am into doing the Grind as well. In fact, I will let you in on a secret - there is a really great trail just beside the Grind called the BCMC that is known to locals so it isn't as busy as the grind. It zigzags up the mountain so isn't as strenuous and takes only a few minutes more to do.
