Yes, My Tax Man..lol will deduct it as long as i have a Rx. saying that its for Alopecia, as it is an actual disease. Just wish the insurance company would get that through their heads and start covering something for us. But at least we can put it towards our medical expense for the year and me with 4 kids it adds up fast for the 7% you need to meet to detuct your medical.

Hi,
Does anyone know how much the Gripper cost? I just joined the group today. I hear they have three lengths in the Gripper cool?

hi everyone. we just picked up a gripper this past w/e and are taking it this coming w/e for hightlights. we had tried ordering a custom gripper but the "factory" in wherever had a fire so they're not making pieces for a while and so we would have had to wait another 8 wks beyond them getting back to producing. so our stylist had them send a piece in the lenght and cap etc details we wanted in one fo the three colors we were going to "blend". it's so dark and too dramatically different for my blonde/fair daughter. :( so it's a lot of $$ for something that's not perfect...yet. hopefully after the w/e. we also have a freedom on order. it wllll take a long long time b'c of the blonde and length factor. we've gotten the cap fit. that's our story. glad to have joined! ttys .....

Yes, I agree.. I am a bit scared to try anything else... the bad part is that our insurance will not cover hair pieces at all not ever for cancer and I have Blue Cross Blue Shield... which is a pretty good insurance company but my husbands works decides what is and is not covered. however they cover the steriod shot and medications the doc wants to put you on for Alopecia to see if hair will grow back. I am talking with my hubby about getting another Freedom piece after Tax time. The good thing is that i can claim my hair on taxes under medical spending. But that for sure would help with having one clean piece at all times.

Hum.. let me think i really don't know of anything like that. maybe try a synthetic piece and switch to your vacuum at night for dinner, dancing ect. that's what i would do... that's why i want to get a cheaper lace front for the summer as i'll be doing a ton of out door activites that i know would cause a lot of wear and tear on my nice piece. you could also go to a local wig shop they may have something like that for swimming.

Hi everyone! I love my freedom wig!!! LOVE IT! BUT - I'm heading to the beach this weekend and want a piece I can wear out in the hot sun that will be fun and casual (like the headband wig - which that one company ran out of)...Any ideas???

I love your hair! Where did you get it? Just got this one in Vegas...Washed it today and am trying to flip it out instead of under... I love the look, but the lace front cuts my forehead. Is yours a lace front? Have this problem?
