New Freedom Wig

Apologies if you get this message twice but I now not sure where I posted it and can't find it. Anyway, just received my new Freedom and am not certain it it fitting correctly.

  • I get a feeling of it peeling away from parts of my scalp now and again
    Difficult to expel bubbles. When I apply pressure to the top, the sides comes away and vice versa.
    The sides by the ear tabs do not sit against my face.

However it still feels secure. Is this all normal as I am dreading it having to be sent back. It did feel like this at the fitting too.

I would like you to go back to your IA and discuss the issues you are having as she should be able to help.

My experience with Libby was very similar when we got our first Freedom (years ago). For you it is definately about how it feels; of course. I believe the feeling you are getting sound normal. But if you are concerned ring Postively Hair(your IA) and have a chat. Did you tell Positively Hair at the fitting how it felt?? I don't believe you will have to send your hairpiece anywhere.

Did you get the DVD showing how to put your hairpiece on? If so, you may have missed the part where you bend wires at the ears in slightly so your hair sits flush with your face...don't worry many people miss this wee part of the information on the DVD. You can not do this while your hairpiece is on. Just bend them slight inwards while it is off.
