Searching for fellow Ontarians with Alopecia. I have been dealing with alopecia for the last 20 years, and I'm finally done dealing with it alone. Is there anyone out there?

Hello, recently joined this group which appears to have all types of Alopecia. I wondered if anyone has been helped with this affliction. I had been diagnosed at Sunnybrook in the fall of 2012 and…Continue

Hi All! This has nothing to do with Alopecia, but for those of you that live in Ottawa, I'm opening a Chip Stand at 660 Eagleson Road in Kanata- My hours are 10am-630pm Mon-Sunday! I figured if anyone is in the area, don't feel shy to stop by! I'll be open May 1st ;)
Freedom Wig consultations are happening in Toronto April 6-7. If you or someone you know are interested please feel free to get in touch and book an appointment. Looking forward to meeting more fellow alopecians! www.imageevolutionhair.ca

Hi all,
I'm back in Toronto March 1-3 for Freedom Wig Consultations. Also, the CANAAF (Canadian Alopecia Areata Foundation) benefit has been moved to March 1st due to weather. Check out CANAAF if interested in tickets and get in touch if you would like a consultation.
Hi everyone, I've been seeing Dr. Al Harithy at Sunnybrook for a few months, but have now been informed that she's leaving. Dr Donovan has already left. Dr Linzon at Women's College is on a leave of absence. Does anyone know of a dermatologist in Toronto who knows about hair loss disorders? I went to so many before sunnybrook and noone could give me a proper diagnosis. Where are we all supposed to go now?
I will be in Toronto for Freedom Wig consultations on January 25-27. If you are interested in the Freedom Wig or know someone that is please get in touch at http://www.imageevolutionhair.ca/contact-us, Happy New Year!
Hello Ontario,
Just wanted to share two items. First if you are in need of support CANAAF is doing a wonderful job supporting both adults and children with the various events and groups that they host. It is a caring and safe environment to share your thoughts and feelings. I personally loved the latest Support and Product Show. It is also nice being in an area filled with alopecians just like myself where you can be yourself.
Secondly, I'm heading back out to both the Toronto and Ottawa areas for Freedom Wig consultations in January. If you or someone you know is interested you can visit my page or my website that is listed on my page to get in contact.
Hope you are all well.
Jenn
