We have some other kids in the group that are her age. I would be glad to introduce you to some of the other moms who also have little girls (or boys). I totally understand the shyness., My daughter was 4 when she got AU and hasnt had any regrowth since. But I bet once she met some of the other kids she would feel very comfortable. Mydaughter Kiah and her sister just made a music video about alopecia at the NAAF conference a couple weeks ago. Its a remake of Katy Perrys California Girls called Alopecia Girls. Its meant to promote awareness and confidence for those with the disease. Your daughter may really get a kick out of it!  Here is the link:

The Harley thing sounds fun. I think the Brewer's game sounds fun too. Are there other kids around her age that you know of that would be going to the Brewer's game?

Trinity is 6 years old. I am talking to her about going to these events now and she is being a little shy about the whole idea.

Jessica, I do not believe we have met before. I am the Milwaukee Area support group leader for NAAF. We have been pretty active for a few years. Our Rock for Locks benefit has lots of kids activities and quite a few families affected by alopecia show up. We also will be attending a Brewer game as a group on Sept 15. One of the kids in our support group will be throwing out the first pitch. The Brewers donated tickets and I have some available yet if you are interested. How old is your child?

I found it while looking up ways for getting kids together who have alopecia. This is not only for kids though. http://kickincuzwecare.wix.com/isakam

Also want to share the flyer for our annual NAAF benefit, Milwauke Rock for Locks and Morgan's Ride for Alopecia. This event has really grown and we hope to see some of you this year! If you want more info or are interested in volunteering, or know a place that may be interested in donating to the silent auction message me!

Do you have any information about that event you can share?
