A group for Wisconsinites to meet and greet. We also welcome Wisconsinite friends and folks who have been here and love our state as we do. Remember if you don't have anything kind to say about our Midwest accent, best not to say anything at all:).

I'm so sorry I had to miss the meeting, too; I found out about it too late to change my schedule - I was diagnosed with AA in March and would love to meet others who can help me understand this. Please keep us posted about the next one!
We had a great introductory session. Special thanks to Josh for hosting the event ... It was really nice meeting everyone, and sharing perspectives.
So sorry I missed out on the meeting. I am interested in attending the next one. I need to get on this site more often to keep up with current events. thank you for all you do to support our group.
Greetings All!!
I had some delay in securing a room for the support group meeting but I now have confirmation. We have a room available for our use this Sunday June 2 at St Paul's Catholic Church in Bay View. (One block South of Howard Ave and a few blocks west of the Lake Parkway) The address is St Paul's Catholic Church. The entrance is right off of the parking lot.
I have access to the room anytime after noon on Sunday. Based on the responses that I received, it looks like 3pm would be the best time for the most people. PLEASE CONFIRM whether or not you will be attending. I will need to have an general idea of how many people we will have. It will also be beneficial to have a mix of both those with Alopecia themselves, and those whose loved one has alopecia. Also, as I stated last time the support group works best when there are people with a variety of experiences in attendance. Whether you are looking to share your experiences and ask questions or feel you can offer advice and support to others, we hope to see you there!
Future times and dates of meetings will be based on the needs of the group. If you are interested but cannot attend the first meeting please let us know so we can include you in the next one!

Hi Ann-Marie,
Nice to meet you! We will be going to NAAF this year as well. I will have to say hello! You did not miss the first meeting. We are looking to hold it on Sunday afternoon but the room I was getting is now unavailable. I am looking for an alternative location and should know tomorrow. You are more than welcome to attend. We have a growing group in the SE Wisconsin area and there are other teen girls who would like to meet her. How old is she? Also, if you scroll down this thread you can see some of the other events we have coming up. We have a great fundraiser and Brewer tailgate outing! Feel free to ask me any questions or you can also check out the current fb page my daughter and I maintain that has some information on awareness events and things we do here locally.

Hope to meet your family soon!
I am interested in the support group meetings:) and events. I did not see a location listed for the meeting next weekend. The date would depend on how far I would have to drive, thanks for the updates
