Hello all!

I wanted to inform you all of another event coming up in the Milwaukee area. The Milwaukee Bucks will be hosting a Meet and Greet with Charlie Villanueva of the Detroit Pistons when the Bucks and Pistons play on Saturday Feb 9. For those not aware, Charlie has AU and has done a lot of work helping kids with Alopecia. I have a limited number of tickets that the Buck donated, and there are additional tickets available at a discounted rate ($10). All tickets are in the same section. For more information check out the facebook event page.

Susan- Yes, we're planning to meet again in the spring. Possibly in late winter if weather permits. It's going great. We've had kids already at the meetings that had never met anyone else with Alopecia so it was very enlightening for them to see the different ways Alopecia presents itself.

Also next summer, my good friend Lily, her mom, and I are planning on making various items with blue ribbons for Alopecia along with other ribbon colors and selling them at a local craft fair. All proceeds going to NAAF. So we're really looking forward to that.

Happy New Year everyone! ~Rose

Welcome Josh from Appleton. I see you like motorcycles; my male friend has a BMW with a sidecar but I've yet to hitch a ride:).

Rose - Are things going well with the Dubuque NAAF support group? Do you have plans for another one this spring?

Is anyone else considering an event for next year? I noticed that the NAAF conference will be much closer to us..St. Louis!

Wishing all of you a Happy New Year! ♡ Susan

Hi everyone. Dubuque, Iowa's second NAAF Alopecia support group meeting will be held Thursday, October 25 from 7-9 in Mercy Medical Center conference room 1-E. During this meeting, we will be sharing stories and meeting everyone. Dubuque, IA is across the Mississippi from southwestern Wisconsin. You are all welcome to come, we'd love to have you! Rose

Not only did Josh and Kiah do a great job raising money for NAAF at the Rocks for Locks/Ride for Morgan fundraiser, they also brought an awareness of alopecia to the Milwaukee area. It was a lot of fun too! Thanks for all your time and effort put into this fundraiser.

Josh and Kiah - I'm sorry to have missed another event; I was attending a funeral of a friend's son...very sad set of circumstances. As we get older, unfortunately funerals are a common item on our calendars, with another this Saturday.

I'm very glad to hear the event was a fun event for all. ((Hugs)) Susan

Hey Josh and Kiah!! Great Rock for Locks event! Isabel really enjoyed it and we got to meet some really great people! Hope you were able to raise lots for Alopecia support and research. Kiah is such a cutie. I loved her hat!
