A group for Wisconsinites to meet and greet. We also welcome Wisconsinite friends and folks who have been here and love our state as we do. Remember if you don't have anything kind to say about our Midwest accent, best not to say anything at all:).

WOW...great job Josh. Your poster for the ride is very "Harley". Wish you great success on the 9th and 28th. I'll see if I can interest some friends in a trip to big metropolis.
Thanks for the info Josh. I will see you at the fundraiser. If you still need volunteers, let me know.
Finally... the Milwaukee Brewer have agreed to participate in Alopecia Awareness month. On Sept 28th they will be putting up a PSA scoreboard message for Alopecia awareness. They have also sent me a block of tickets for those interested in attending. Please let me know to reserve your spot!
To all WI Alopecians and Alopecian families,
Please consider joining us on Sept 9 for the largest ever ( I think) alopecia fundraiser in WI history. It will be held at Milwaukee Harley Davidson and consists of two parts. For motorcycle enthusiasts there will be a 55 mile ride through the Holy Hill area that leaves at 10:30am and returns at 1pm. In addition from 11am-4pm Rock for Locks will be going on at the dealership with live music, food and beverage vending, a childrens area, and a huge silent auction. I am attaching flyers with additional information. If anyone has questions please let me know and we hope to see you all there!
Natasha, Sorry for the delay. It's been a very busy summer and we have been in full swing prepping for our fundraiser on Sept 9. If you are still looking to exchange some ideas please email me at jjl2@uwm.edu. I will be sharing more information about the fundraiser on here this week as well. Hope to talk to you soon!
Susan the restaurant is in Marshfield. About an hour from Stevens Point. Josh and Kiah =) this is the first time that we have ever done anything like this so nothing is decided yet. Milwaukee isn't that far from me. I would love to find out more about it. Maybe you can offer some guidance for me and my brother.
Hello Natasha - Where is this restaurant located?
My brother just received a job as a PR for a restaurant here in Wisconsin. We were speaking about an event that would allow the restaurant to get its name out there while going to a good cause. I came up with a charity event where the donations would be towards Alopecia research or something of the like. Since the topic is so close to home for our family and many of our friends we thought it would be a good idea. We are hoping that other people with Alopecia will attend so that we can honor them for their courage and strength. If we are able to organize such an event would anyone like to be a part of it?
