Ok so I'm putting a thought out there and am keen for any ideas suggestions, and curious who is keen?

I'm currently looking on planning a weekend long "camp" for Alopecia sufferers in NZ! I'm thinking kids & there families & any adults who aos want to get amongst the fun! I'm envisioning games, group challenegs, obstacle course, Abseiling High Ropes etc

I'm an Outddor education Instructor (& so is my husband Karl) so I've got some great contacts here in Christchurch.

I'm currently looking at the middle or last weekend of the spring school holidays 4-6 Oct or 11-13th oct

What do u think???

Love n hugs
Bex :)

Paul you are AWESOME setting up all these meetings for everyone!!
My house is right beside the beach in papamoa if anyone wanted to come over for a beach day while its still warm from Hamilton or any of the smaller towns surrounding rather than a coffee meet up. I have children so could be a family day?

Thanks Paul,
Hi Kelly it looks like Amanda & Ashleigh might be of some help for you :) I've heard from the doctors that there's quite a few kids living with alopecia in CHCH since the quakes. It must be SO hard for such young ones to adapt to this condition, I really feel for them.

Hi everyone - my daughter is 9 1/2 and we live in Christchurch she is very keen to meet others around her age who also have Alopecia. Would be very interested for a catch in Christchurch. Her Alopecia has got very agressive in a short period of time and she has lost almost all of her hair - she is very comfortable with it but always asks the question why her - so it would be good that she could see its not just her.
