thanks :)
my wig is from a company called Amy's Presence... and I love it to bits! It's absolutely perfect! Mine's from a little place in Phoenix, Arizona, which sells these wigs, but they're available all over US and Canada. Amy (the woman who designs them) has Alopecia, so they're perfect for us Alopecians because they're made to live in, unlike wigs for cancer patients. I'm sure if you type in Amy's presence in google, you'd get a link to the website. I'd definately suggest the wigs. They're soo comfortable! Some people live in theirs 24/7 but i take mine off to sleep. I hope this helps!
I'm Liz, I'm 18 and I've had Alopecia areata for 10 years now.
It's great that you can feel so accepting and calm about this :) I have areata, and I've lost my hair completely before, at the min I've got about 40-50%.
Just honestly don't worry about it. You are strong, and you are beautiful :)
