Bit late to reply to your friend request but how are you getting on?
My alopecia started in a pretty similar way to yours. When I was sitting my standard grade prelims I got a small patch near my left ear and then the nape of my neck got a little bald around the time of the actual exams. It seems pretty simplistic to blame it on 'stress' (and the older you get, the more stressful life seems to become) but I guess something has to trigger it off. I've been lucky in that it's only been over a year since I first wasn't able to hide the bald spots. No-one at school really knew about my patches because I had so much hair then and they seemed to grow back of their own accord. Are you still able to keep your patches covered up or are they sneaking out? I got a wig last May so if you need any pointers on that, just let me know - it can be confusing and your GP might not know that much about AA (hence why they are all desperate to try out steriod creams on you - ow).
i've been to scotland a few times in my day. : )
i might actually been heading back this summer for holiday.
how are you these days?
How are you doing today?
