I hope it all grows back like a nice green lawn, :) I've been dealing with what my doc call the "moth-eaten" look, so I grow my hair a little long. Have you ever been to any group functions?
yeppers im still in NoVA. I see you just went AU... its hard for sure at first, but rest assured, if youre like me and your hair doesnt grow back its sooo not the end of the world!!! i dont remember what i was like with hair, and honestly i like myself better now.

Hi VG,
I saw your comment on the Newly Diagnosed group page. Just wanted to say that yes, there is always a chance your hair can grow back. The follicles never die, so there is always hope. Unfortunately there's absolutely no way of knowing what will happen with the disease for every individual.
As for your comment back to Cheryl below (she probably won't see this...if you want to comment someone, click comment back so the comment will appear on their page instead of yours)...you could try clicking on MEMBERS in the menu across the top and type in locations in the search field. Or click on GROUPS at the top to see if there are any groups set up for people from your area. If not you could create one and see if anyone joins. Otherwise, click here for a list of support groups in your area through NAAF: Mid-Atlantic Support Groups. Through the NAAF, you can also get telephone support if there isn't a support group close to you: Telephone Support.
