Recently diagnosed with Alopecia Areata. Not too sure how this will progress or regress..... I seem to be losing hair daily and am resigned that I will probably lose it all...
I am currently studying industrial design at the Uni. of NSW in Sydney. Happy to see so many smiling faces in Alopecia World and look forward to making new friend here.
shave it if you feel strong enough..stand tall "smile" and don't let anyone drag your energy down. This way being patchy can cause even more insecurity..I know!
my son has been telling me to shave off the fluff for years...and no that I did..he said"what took you so long"
you look ten years younger..that's a blessing in itself!
Hi Gonzalo, I wanted to take this opportunity to welcome you to Alopecia World. I have been living with Alopecia Areata since 1991 and know full well the struggle it can be. I look forward to getting to know you. Cheryl, Co-founder
