About Me:
I am eighteen and I just graduated High school. I have had AU since the tenth grade. So for about two years now. I also have hypothyroidism and have been told by doctors that that could have indirectly been the cause of the severe hair loss. I am taking a year off before I start college to work, study art, and to try to take care of myself better and become more comfortable and confident with myself.

I have universalis, too. I know how hard it can be; I have had it for about 30 years. Let me know if you need help or support. One thing that you might be interested in is my book, written for women, called "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" (It just won two national awards!) It has a lot of good info in it, it can answer many questions, and it's a fun read, too. You can find out more on my page. It's available on Amazon.com, and on this site under "Bookshelf."
