About Me: Well, my names Megan and I am a very lively girl. I've had alopecia all my life and I'm 100% fine with it. It's who i am and i can't change that. I'm not a person that likes to show off her baldness, i wear a wig instead. i feel extremely sorry for my parents, they're struggling a lot money wise and I realize how much this is hurting my parents pockets but these wigs mean i can enjoy my social life just like anyone else.. and not have to worry about anything. I enjoy playing football, and pretty much any other sport! I've had several boyfriends and only one of them knew i had alopecia, he was fine with it. Get in touch i would love to meet anybody with the same problem, give them advice and just generally make friends.

Its always encouraging for me to see someone with a good outlook on Alopecia. It's one I wish i wouldve had when I was younger thats for sure! I've considered a wig myself, but am unsure where I should look for some that would look real enough. Not only that, but I cant remember the last time I ever thought about a good hair style for myself lol :-P

I have recently heard a lot about them and went to an appointment but because its a lot of money need to think about it. Do you wear a ready made wig or do you get it custom made? Do you think a hair cut makes a big difference in the ready made wigs because it seemed a lot of density? Have you checked out any other wig companies?
