Sorry I haven't responded. I've since been married and had a baby. How are you doing? I still haven't accepted my scarring alopecia. Every now and then I have melt downs when I see a woman who has the same hair I had
Megan, Thank you. You will get the courage to do so. When I shaved mines back in 2010, I just told myself "it's just hair!" I wanted to be free and not feel the need to hide behind wigs (they were TOO HOT!!), hats, or scarves. Stay strong, you will shave it when you're ready!! Stay blessed!!
Hi Megan, I wasn't ignoring you...I haven't logged for a while. I'm glad to hear from someone else with scarring alopecia. In some ways I think we have it easier since we know the hair isn't coming back...but it still sucks (to be blunt). cs
Megan, thanks for the nice compliment about my art.
I am glad you're thinking about getting my book -- it has really helped a lot of women.
Let me know how you like, it, okay? Meanwhile, I'm here if you need me!
