About Me:
Mom first! I have 2 awesome teens. I work as a Medical Assistant. I am dating after a divorce. That's interestingly wonderful and complicated. I started going bald after a hair appointment. I'm a natural redhead and my hair has always been my "signature". I'm so devastated but trying to laugh at it and make the most of it.

Growth after buzzing it off

Posted on September 18, 2015 at 11:44pm 3 Comments

I had finally said 'enough is enough I'm tired of the hair falling out everywhere all over everything!'
So, my boyfriend gave me a buzz cut with my kids watching and being supportive.
Now, I'm seeing growth. I have Very white unpigmented hair where my bald spots were and only one spot still bald.
So I'm curios, how many of you have shaved and then tried to regrow to see what would happen?
Did you experience white growth?

Hi Momuv2,

I really hair wig is the best to get. work out the style and color you like take photos with you to show what you are looking for.

When when you have found one have a stylist cut it to work with you face don't expert to find one off the shelf that will be perfect for you.

the people that sale wigs are not always the best ones the cut it for you as there moor sales people not stylist.

the hair grip is a great help the keep wigs in place.

Make shore you're wig is not a full plastic back there horrible to wear.

Lace front wigs are great but full lace wigs are to fragile.

I hope this was a help I'm sorry to hear of your hair loss I to have hair loss but only when i stress it grows back after the stress is goon to i fell very lucky and it makes me wont to help out with people that really suffer from hair loss. xo

Aww Thank you! This is actually my hair, but as of current it's not doing as well. You see, I made the mistake of coloring my hair and the chemicals were quite harmful. I also have some issues with my eye lashes which is why i do the cat eye eyeliner besides the fact that I love that look. It's all about experimentation though. Through experimenting you find out what works for you. I hope this was helpful to you Momuv2... Btw you are quite stunning yourself <3

Hello Momuv2.  I first want to say I am so sorry what you are going through.  I remember how I felt when mine first started.  I wished I would have found this site. So your starting off right...finding info and support. Your loss looks just like mine started and I'm sure your going through alot of stress. I lost almost all mine so I did shave it and I just did for the 3rd time the other day.  I feel better when I do, it gives me some of the control back if that makes any sense. Its going to be really weird the first time if you decide to do it.  I made many mistakes and wasted alot of money when mine first started. There are treatments and some work for some and not for others.  Thats what makes this disease so frustrating. As far as wigs go I bought several before I learned what looked natural and what was comfortable.  I would recommend monofilament wigs.  They are a little more price but they look so much more real and more comfortable.  Esp the lace front.  Good luck sweetie.  Message me anytime. I know how hard this can be. I'm going through some pretty severe depression right now because of this.
