I have Alopecia Totalis progressing towards Alopecia Universalis. It began in June 2014 when started losing my eyelashes which has progressed all over me. I’ve no eyelashes and eyebrows. I’m virtually bald also. I just want myself(health) back to it’s full glory it was before. Life has never been the same since I lost my hair!
Hi not been on here for a while hope your well I was going and am going though the same thing my hair is growing back slowly legs, arms and eyes brows are taking longer but my hair grow back white and is starting to change colour tryed years sugar free diet but really missed. chocolate lol
In my case, I also do not know what has triggered it, but it all just fell off. For the past couple of months, I started to get hair again in patches on my legs and in my armpits. I honestly do not have any expectation that it will reside completely, and I believe it may just be due to my immune system having other tasks.
What I have heard all along is, that Alopecia is a tricky decease and behaves differently on each person inflicted. I also heard that it may well be genetically triggered.
One thing I am positive about is that I do not have patches of hair on my scalp. The only bother I have had is mainly that sweat runs to easy into my eyes when kayaking or doing other exercises.
