I'm a working Mother with two wonderful children, I also have three stepchildren who I'm very blessed to have. So, my husband and I stay really busy...LOL!! My son Ray has Alopecia Areata and his had it since he was 3, his now 13. Ray has grown use to having Alopecia, he has over came the bully's and the "OVERLY" staring. I have not!! As a Mother I'm very over protected and really need a support group. I thank my God for peace his giving me and to help me to over come the hurt I feel for my son. I would like to connect with others who's going through the same thing.

Hi and thanks for reaching out to me! I have not had much time to spend on Alopecia World since finding out about it. Its so nice to read another Mom's journey with Alopecia. My son Triston is now 3 and I struggle with it daily. I am so proud that Ray has done well with tackling his Alopecia because we all know that is our BIGGEST worry.

It amazes me how things come full circle. We start of needing the support and end giving it. I would be proud too!
Looks like Ray is doing great!
