- Hello, my name is Susy and my percious daughter's name is Jasmine. Jasmine developed alopecia areota when she was 18 months old and totalis when she was 2 1/2 years old. we have worked hard as a team to build her confidents and not have to wear a wig or a hat. our faith has brought us along way. Jasmine started kindergarden and it seems like it regressed her to square one. i would love for her to know and see that she is not alone. we are in search of others who are the same age, that seek to know the same. she is an awesome littel girls who has an amazing personality. we look forward to making life long friends. As an update jasmine is now entering 1st grade and she has progressed amazingly. with the help of this website and some advise i got it helped us through the year. we have Alopecia awareness day at her school and whenever she starts somewhere new i always talk to all the kids about alopecia and feelings. she is very comfortable and has had so much fun in school.

Please come to Lawrence Gallery on the 12th of November -- see my note below. I will be there about 6 PM. If you let me know exactly when you are coming, I will be there! I will be going to Santa Fe next week, so we'll have to wait a little bit to do something. There is another art show on November 12 that won't be so crowded and it will be in a nicer gallery, Lawrence, on the corner of NW 9th and Davis. My friend, Barry Mack, is having a show of his work. It is a huge space and you will be able to move around! Would you like to meet me there?
Okay, we'll figure something else out. Did you at least get some cookies and candy at the show?

Hey, I missed you guys! I was at the Portland Art Museum Rental Sales Gallery until 6:15 and then I had to leave to meet someone at 6:30. I was looking forward to meeting you! I hope you are both okay.

I have another event to attend that starts at 6:30 which is dressy, so don't be shocked that I am in cocktail attire! Everyone else there will be in jeans. I will look peculiar! Oh well.

I just want you to know that I read what your mom wrote and it made me smile. If you can be so brave at only 5 years old you are going to grow up to be truly remarkable lady. Know that you have given me strength today. I'll promise to smile big this weekend with you in my heart.
I will be at the art show on the 17th between 5 and 6:30 or 7 -- so if you can come on the early side, that would be great!
