Diagnosed with Alopecia Areata in 2011. Tried to hide it for years but in 2017 it got to the point where I didn't have enough hair to hide the bald spots, so I shaved it all off!
Mom of 2 daughters, Grandma for 3 of the most beautiful kids on the planet, and turning 50 in April!
Alopecia doesn't have to define us, it is just something we live with
