I am the very proud parent of a wonderful four year old boy with alopeica areata; he was diagnosed at age one and a half. I am very interested in talking with/learning from others living with alopecia and being part of a network that will help my son learn about this condition and connect with children similar to him in this way.

Hi Wendy, I just found out about a month ago that my little girl who is 1 1/2 has alopecia areata. I'm just curious to find out what treatment if any you use with your son? We have chosen not to treat our daughter at this time as she is so little I think for what they want us to use on her. If you have any suggestion for us I love to talk.
