Hi my names ashley im 24 years old with two beautiful children. i have had AT for about 18 years .i used to try out diffrent treatments when i was in my teens we did needles in my head , asitone ointment thats the one that slowly peels your skin , as well as numerous diffrent creams and meds when i was 13 yrs old they wanted to try a new cream out on me . i looked at my mom and sid no im done . that was over10 yrs ago after that i would buy hats and scarves to wear i was still self consious about my head .now being as im a little older and a little wiser i have come to the conclusion that my head is beautiful and if others dont like it of are offended than they can just walk away they dont have to look . i am me accept me for who i am or not at all.i love that this group is here i look forward to talking with all of you .
Your kids are gorgeous. Just wanted to tell you that. I really like your "take it or leave it" attitude. I am moving in that direction more and more everyday. I think this website might be the push I've been needing to take on that attitude even more. Thanks
Hi Ashley, I wanted to welcome you to Alopecia World. I can honestly say that we are a great community here and I hope you enjoy the time you spend with us. Cheryl, co-founder
Hey Ashley
I wonder what I'd do with hair now myself, it's been 30 years for me!
You should have a box on your page for music, all you have to do is click on the "+ music" and a window will pop up so you can upload music from your computer. If you don't have a box for music on your page you might want to check the settings (below your picture or in the same spot on the right of the page) and you may be able to find a setting to add that type of application to your page.
For the pics, if you go to "Photos" (along the top of the page) there will be a link on that page to add photos in the top right area. Or if you want to add it to a comment or blog there is a little blue and green square at the top of the box you're writing in, just click on that and it will guide you the rest of the way. I hope that helps, I don't exactly consider myself an internet guru! LOL Take care! :)
Hi Ashley! Popping in to extend a warm welcome to you! You have beautiful children!!! I hope you will find the acceptance I have here on this site!
