So on Sept. 14 we had my daughters first dermatologist appointment and the derm told me it looks like she has all the signs of alopecia. Then she asked me how I felt about hearing that and I told her that I pretty much have been preparing myself to hear those words. I told her that I was actually glad it wasn't something worse. Hair regrowth in my daughter

Just wanted to give you an update on what is going on with my daughter. We have her appointment with the dermatologist on September 14th, I have noticed a lot of regrowth in her bald spots. She used to have about 15 to 16 spots and one of the biggest one was very visible, but now it is growing hair and all the other spots are growing also. Went to the doctor yesterday afternoon......And I have realized more and more that all we can do is take it day by day and live life to the fullest!!!!

So yesterday I had one of those days were I felt sad about the unknown in regards to my daughter and how much my life and mentality have change and will continue to change in a positive way. While I was at worked I started to think about a million things and of course I felt a little down.... I was a little stressed and basically mad at the world..lol. "Accepting the things that I cannot change"

When I first saw the first quarter size spot on my daughers head I went histerical. I did some research online and took her to the doctor. He told me not to worry about it and that he would do some tests to make sure it wasn't ring worm or some other type of bacteria. Well they told me that the lab test were negative for any virus or bacteria. The doctor then told me that she was healthy and that I did not need to worry about it.
