It's been a long time since I have posted. My boyfriend has been growing out his hair to donate but I am not sure where. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have heard not so good things about lock of love...

In my last blog post, I lamented on my dad's critical view of me going outside without my wig on. Well, I have moved over 1000 miles away from home, parents and in with my best friend. In the last month I have noticed black hairs sprouting up all over! I must also disclose I have started to use the DNCB treatment that I'd previously gave up on. I had one tub of the stuff (expired, but, ah hey why not) and thought I'd use it up. Things look good!

I have been living at home with my parents for the last five months before I start grad school. Since then I have always worn a wig around the house (I have been wearing a wig for almost 2 years now). I had never gone out in public without a wig until attending the NAAF conference a few weeks ago in Indianapolis - which was also my first time meeting anyone else with Alopecia.
