A short background. I went completely bald in 7th and 8th grade when I first lost my hair. I got my first wig in high school and have worn one ever since. Today I was with my cousin and I went with her to take her 5 year old son to get a haircut. I'm sitting in a chair reading a magazine waiting for them to be finished when an older lady (70's) comes up to me and says, "Excuse me. Do you mind if I tell you something?" Here is the link to this incredible story. Someone was shooting at this woman and the bullet was stopped by the cap to her wig. The bullet was tangeled in her hair. She said the back of her head felt hot but the bullet didn't go through.
