Has anyone ordered a wig from the Paula Young catalog? If so what do you think of them? Color, texture, how long do they last...

Yes, I have ordered the Snap wig. I LOVED it!! It was REALLY cheap and NO ONE knew I was wearing a wig!! But it also looked exactly like my own hair (cut & color) before I lost it.

I didn't use any products on it and I only washed it in Woolite or baby shampoo if I was traveling. It still looks okay, starting to show some signs of wear and I've had it for about a year.

Good Luck!

Yes, I have had about three of them. The ones that were human hair were FANTASTIC and incredibly inexpensive compared to other companies but the synthetic one that I had was just terrible. I will buy the human hair one again, in fact, look at my profile, the picture that I have of the red curls is a Paula Young wig and I love it.

I have purchased several Paula Young wigs. My main complaint is that they don't always have the color I want, so sometimes I settle for a slightly different shade. I've only bought the synthetic wigs because the human hair wigs require more care to style and maintain. My favorite Paula Young wig is Abby. I recently ordered it in a monofilament front and look forward to receiving it soon. I only hope that I'll be satisfied with the color since they didn't have the color that I really wanted. There's a picture of me in this wig on my blog, but my pics are restricted so only friends can view them.

Hi there Celeste- Got to your blog via my sis's blog (Donna Evans). She has alopecia and I do not. This is the place for you to be, and I'm certain of it. Hang in there. You will get through this! I liked your lemonade blog and wanted to suggest to you that instead of lemonade you make lemon margaritas ;-) Go check out this other blog (not on alopecia world) www.lemonmargaritas.com! This is a very good friend of mine, and breast cancer survivor. I think you will find her blog funny and inspiring. Sincerely, LouAn Williams
