UPS delivered my temporary wig yesterday. Yay! At first when I put it on I wasn't sure if I liked it. The last time I had a short-hair wig was when I was in junior high and the beginning of freshman year in high school. But I do like it! It's easier to maintain and it dries faster after I wash it. Plus if the wind picks up, it doesn't blow all over my face as much.
I think when I go back to Miss Peggy in September I will have my hair similar to this length. Maybe a little longer so I can still achieve the ponytail look? I'll probably layer it differently too. It's a nice change and it makes me look somewhat closer to my age and not like I'm 12 anymore haha.
I went in yesterday to see the hiring manager at the movie theatre because the general manager told me I was hired and all I needed to do was sign paperwork. Turns out I'm NOT actually hired yet. The hiring manager put me through ANOTHER interview and then told me it wasn't guaranteed. So I applied at the campus bookstore today and I'm praying I get that job. It sounds pretty hopeful and so in that case I think that even if I DO get hired by the movie theatre, I will turn them down because I'm not willing to work until 11pm at night and then have to walk 20 minutes back home. I know Irvine is the fourth safest city in the nation, but I come from a city that has made me paranoid to step out alone past 8pm.
In other news I have a coupon for an Arby's roast beef sandwich. Unfortunately there is no Arby's nearby campus and I don't want to take an hour and a half plus transfers to get to the Arby's in Irvine.
Now I really want a roast beef sandwich...
